Technology
The USB Type-C output port connects newer devices. The USB Type-A port allows for backwards compatibility. A USB Type-C input recharges the RazorPlatinum in about 3-6 hours depending on how much power is left on it. You can also charge up devices while charging the RazorPlatinum unit for convenience and also simultaneously charge two devices. Four LEDs let you know how much power is left. Just shake the unit to illuminate the battery level indicator, pretty cool.
The RazorPlatinum also integrates Smart-sense to ensure device compatibility and Safe-cell technologies for battery safety. Automatic shutoff on both input and output ensure safe operation while the battery is able to maintain power for up to a year. (at least a 50% charge should be placed on the battery if you’re planning not to use it for a while.) myCharge states at least 500 charge cycles from dead.
