It’s very common to have a multitude of devices in the house including both a smartphone and smartwatch for instance. You don’t have to decide which device to charge first with two ports.

Plug in a single device like a macbook for the full 35Watts of power or two devices for 20w and 15w on the other. Lots of us go to bed, plug our phones in and go to sleep. So it sits on a charger for 4-8 hrs depending which is actually not recommended for longevity of the battery. Ideally you’re supposed to run it down nearly depleted and charge it up fully in one sitting, the PoweVolt PD35 makes that a little easier for you.

Why GaN?

The bottom line is that (Gallium Nitride) technology offers safer more reliable charging in a smaller form factor not to mention it’s much faster! GaN technology uses a Gallium Nitride semiconductor material instead of the more previously commonly used silicon. The Gallium Nitride works two-fold not only to conduct electricity more efficiently but also allows for all of the guts to be manufactured smaller and generating less heat.

Our Experience

Hey it’s a wall charger right? Well yes but it’s a very good one. Nice and small with folding prongs so that you can easily toss this puppy into your pocket. The PowerVolt PD35 is fantastic. Twice the fun so you can charge 2 devices at the Fast charge 3.0 delivery rate. It’s also auto sensing so you can use all 35w for a power hungry device like a laptop if need be.

The PowerVolt PD35 is very convenient, it works, it’s fast! Nice looking elegant design as well.

We currently have the PowerVolt PD35 rotating between Android, iPhone & Apple Watch devices. It’s become the quick go to charger around these parts. The auto sensing PD35 will push 20W to one device and 15w to the other. Having Dual plugs is a huge plus, saves on plug space and less to carry and fumble with. The PD35 will save you space on the outlet as well. The prongs are equal size, there isn’t a larger side so you’re free to flip it.

What you can’t do with the PD35 is plug a USB-A plug into it. Yes it can be somewhat cumbersome for a period of time but eventually many of your USB-A devices will be phased out for the most part. Even Apple’s iPhone 15 will be moving over to a USB-C charge port thanks to the EU.

For a while, we need to utilize two wall plugs, the PD35 for newer devices that support USB-C and another for older devices where a USB-A is necessary. Wireless headphones, LED powered mirrors, Toothbrushes, LED flashlights, the list goes on and on; virtually everything comes with a built-in battery version, so safe to say you’ll end up needing multiple chargers for a bit.
