In prelude to the Vision Expo at the Jacob Javits Center, a Fashion Trends Presentation run by The Vision Council showcased some of the upcoming trending styles for the Spring & Summer 2017 season. After the show we got a chance for a little up close and personal with the top designer eyewear brands and their latest designs.
Top fashion trend forecaster WGSN was on site to discuss men’s, women’s, children’s accessories, RX, sunglasses, trends and styles for the Spring/Summer 2017 and a look into Fall/Winter 2018 mood and color.
We were able to get some exclusive time with some of the premium eyewear brands out there to talk about the latest styles and materials.
Shwood showcased their integration of beautiful wood grain and balanced designs. PogoTech bringing their interesting PogoCam detachable magnetic cam and proprietary frame system to the table.
TC Charton showing off their Asian Fit designer men’s and ladies frames. Marcolin showcasing their Swarovski Crystal embedded luxury frames. Allure Eyewear showing off their trendy ladies styles and much more.

International Vision Expo East
The International Vision Expo and Conference brings together all of the top designers, trending styles, education and technologies for eyewear under one roof in a 3-Day event at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC. Included was entertainment, goodies and giveaways as well as exclusive runway shows for trending Colors, Shapes, Details and Lenses.
Eyewear brands from designer companies like Marchon Eyewear (Chloé, Salvatore Ferragamo, MCM), Allure Eyewear (Oscar De La Renta, James Dean), Tura (L.A.M.B., gx by Gwen Stefani, Kate Young for Tura, Ted Baker), ClearVision Optical Company, Inc. (Steve Madden, BCBGMAXAZRIA), Icon Eyewear (Franco Sarto, Abercrombie & Fitch, Urban Outfitters) were on site to showcase their new designs, materials, technology as well as tell their story and inspiration behind the latest luxury styles.
Attendees include Press, General Attendees, Conferees, Optometrists, Opticians, Practice Managers, Frame Buyers and Eyecare professionals.
