On display starting today at the New York Auto Show is the 2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF Fastback and wow is she a looker. I’ll take a sexy Targa roof over a drop top any day of the week.
Sure the past Miata’s were fun, relatively cool looking and inexpensive. The styling revisions for the Targa Top Miata RF have put this baby over the top and it makes this sub $30k roadster hot!

Roof panel, rear window, buttresses lift away and seat themselves back down once it retracts everything. The RF stands for “Retractable Fastback”. Under the hood we find a 1.5, 2.0 or a 2.0 liter Skyactive-G engine that will exclusively be sold in the US.
