The Breitling Superocean Heritage 46 is equipped with a self-winding chronograph movement, column-wheel construction and vertical coupling-clutch. Additionally 5 technical advancements, Ceramic baseplate and Gear-train bridges, Silicon wheels and escapement, Variable-inertia balance, Elastic toothing have refined and optimized the security for the escapement.This increase in precision and weight reduction resulted in more than a 40% gain in efficiency allowing up to 100 hours of potential reserve power.

The limited edition Breitling Automatic men’s chronograph pays homage to the 1957 Superocean created for driving thrill-seekers featuring pointed hour-markers found on the original. With only 100-piece run of the Superocean Heritage 46 the Breitling will only be available to the elite. It is water resistant to 100 meters or 330 feet and features a unidirectional ratcheted rotating bezel. cambered sapphire crystal, glare-proofed on both sides with a transparent sapphire caseback.
