Reinforced synthetic padding over the shoulders resists moisture and maintain it’s shape better for warmth while the duel layer construction of the polymide and down increase durability, waterproofing and loft.
A two-way front zipper and protective flap with buttons along with a draw cord around the waist and hood let you batten down the hatches very effectively. The two front pockets are thoughtfully engineered with extra side openings and sleeves incorporate buttons to adjust the cuff widths.
The Expedition Down Jacket has a larger profile by design, you can wear it on the street but it may be slightly bulky, still a cool look.
