The Taron Basecamp 6 features a roomy 6 person dome style domicile great for weekend warriors and 3-season gear seekers looking for some more room. The Taron is an excellent addition to your camping gear.

The 6-person sleeper measures 10′ x 8′ 6″ with a maxium center height of 6 feet allow many adults to stand up naturally at the center and packs down to 8″ x 23″ at 14 lbs. 8oz. At this weight the Taron is not designed as a backpacking tent but offers excellent functionality and security from the elements. It can deal with strong winds and gusts much better with the Vectored struts and sturdy aluminum frame structure.

The Taron features 11mm and 8.5mm aluminum poles for the frame that are easy to use and sturdy. The frame configuration supports the 2 vents, 2 doors, 2 windows and 2 vestibule areas with great security. The Taron is constructed of 150D polyester oxford 3000mm Floor, 70D polyester taffeta Wall, 40D polyester no-see-um Mesh and a 68D polyester ripstop 1800mm Fly for excellent quality. The Taron comes in a 4 person sleeper dome variation. The Taron Basecamp 4 floor size measures 7′ 6″ x 8′ 6″ and weighs 11 lbs 14 oz.

Also available is the Midori Basecamp 6 also new for 2016, comes in a 4 and 6 person size. The 6-person mesure 10′ x 8’6″ and weighs 9 lbs 11 oz.

On the interior the Eluminate System: a center utility hook and two removable reflective fabric panels, allow light from your LED lantern to reflect downward, maximizing your lighting. It increases your lighting up to 3x and works wonderfully. Two storage pockets and an included Gear Hammock make it easier to stay organized.

The Eureka V3 Enhanced Tent System, Volume, Venting, Versatility maximizes comfort and usage. A vertical strut vestibule pole creates extra volume for protected storage versatility while enhancing ventilation. Vectored fly-to-tent body pullouts increase stability and tent volume. Additional hooded fly vents and mesh panels increase airflow essential for keeping condensation from building up on the interior. The rear vestibule can be zipped and secured down or unzipped and raised up on poles for an open configuration.
