HP Fires Up Omen Gaming Laptops and Towers
HP is all fired up about their new Gaming Gear and launches the Omen Gaming Laptops and Towers. The Omen by HP line includes two new high-end gaming Laptops and a VR-ready tower unit with a new Omen Quad HD 32in gaming monitor to show off all it’s capabilities.
The Omen gaming laptops come in either an Core i3 CPU 15.6″ 4.6lbs with a 24.5mm profile or a Core i7 CPU 17.3″ weighing 6.28lbs with a 29.9mm profile and plenty of power starting just under $1,000.00.
Under the hood, driving the new HP’s performance is a 6th Gen Core i7 Intel CPU, 16GB of RAM, SSD HD or Hybrid and an nVidia GeForce GTX 965M video card. The new Omen towers are VR Ready and come equipped with the Intel Core i7 and Core i3 processor, Top shelf nVidia GTX 1080 Founders Edition graphics card, 32 GB of RAM, 512 SSD or 3TB HDD. You can even toss in a liquid cooling system. Go HP!
The Omen gaming laptops come with an FHD or 4k IPS display with Wide Vision HD integrated camera or optional Intel RealSense Camera for 3D and gesture control apps. To complete your audio visual gaming experience are dual speakers “tuned” by Bang & Olufsen.
The Omen 32″ Gaming display features Quad HD 2560×1440 resolution and wide viewing angles and 100% sRGB gamut coverage. Integrated AMD FreeSync technology to drop choppy game play, screen artifacts and ripping.
No word yet on pricing from HP about the Omen gaming tower or Omen 32″ gaming display, available August 2016.
