It’s that time again and D-Link drops a doozy with their new CES Innovation Award Honoree 5G NR Gateway and new Exo mesh enabled smart-routers, extenders announced in Vegas. D-Link’s new 5G NR Router promises 40x faster download speeds over the avg broadband download speeds in the US (70mbps).

Powered by Qualcomm’s SDX55 Chipset the DWR-2010 features AC2600 Dual Band Wi-Fi (800 + 1732 Mbps) with MU-MIMO, 4 external antennae for LTE/5G NR & also supports VoLTE (Voice Over LTE).

Exo Mesh Smart Routers & Extenders
Along side the new 5G Gateway is D-Link’s line-up of Exo Routers and Extenders that will utilize their WiFi Mesh technology for seamless SSID and automatically connects as you move about the coverage area.
Additionally each Exo router now includes a McAfee cloud based learning security suite that will have 5-years of protection for IoT devices and 2 years protection for Desktop, Laptop and mobile device. The new line-up of Mesh-enabled smart routers and extenders will range in price from $79.99 to $199.99. Available in the Q2 2019.
